EOTD - Kiwi Strawberry

Ladies, i apologize for my extreme laziness in only doing one eye but my nephew knocked over my eye makeup remover and i didn't get a chance to buy a new one yet so me being the pure lazy devil that i am, i only did one eye becuase its going to take me a while to soak off the waterproof mascara without makeup remover.

 

This is the look that i was going for (i found this pic on google btw, i dont kno who it is but for some reason i think this is a sugar user...she looks soo familiar.):

 

Ok and here's my attempt at mimicking the look:

 

Eyeshadows:

I used my Nyx products: Keylime for the green, and Sunnyday for the pink.

Physicians Formula: Baked sands Trio - the lightest shade for highlight but it was too light so i went over the top of it with the bronzey color to tone it down

Eyeliner:

L'oreal Lineur Intense felt tip liquid liner in Mineral grey

Mascara:

L'oreal Lashout in Black (waterproof)

Nyx Black Label Lipstick

I totally forgot that i bought a couple of lipsticks when i got my haul. I think that also tells you that i was not happy with the lipsticks after i swatched and tried them on. Basically i am just not a lipstick person, i think they can make me look older, and i am trying to stay as young as possible! lol. Don't get me wrong, there are people who seem to make the right lipstick choices so the lipstick compliments them (retailtherapy im talking about you! ^_^) and just enhances their look but for me i jus feel silly wearing them. Well enough of that, on to the pictures!

these are the 2 colors i got.I was going for brown shades that were "neutralish"

 

btw i think i accidentally switched the caps on the lipstick and then put the wrong shades in the box so the one on the left i THINK is really walnut not pecan. And the swatches on the site were obviously off because these colors were darker in person. ggrr! but that was still fine, they dont seem too dark, and they look brown right?

this is Walnut i believe. It was the darker of the 2. Looks alil red/pink toned when its on.

 

And this is pecan. More pink tone then brown.

 

So thats it. At least i didn't spend alot of money on these, they were $2 or $4 i believe plus i got the 25% discount so all in all i'm not too upset. I am going to try find someone to give them too as i honestly won't be using them again. If anybody wants them let me know (direct message me). And don't worry about it being unsanitiary, the trick is that you cut off the top part so you don't use any part that i've used.

Tag: whats in your bag?

Ok, one of my fave tags is what's in your bag? I admit, i am a nosey person and i am always curious to see what other girls put in their bags as i know i pack everything but the kitchen sink in mine. Here goes my bag of the moment:

 

Loeffler Randall for Target, bought it over a year ago and i LOOVE it. It's one of my cheapest bags and it looks gorgeous.

 

looks full huh? told you i pack alot in it! i am going to take a couple of pictures as there is alot of stuff in it.

 

Ok so i have a rip out of Revlon polishes i was searching for, bills (ughh!) and under that you can see the spine of my lovely notebook, a magazine

My makeup bag: tic tacs, maybelline shinylicious gloss: Caramella, red pen, tissues, mirror, hair ties, hair clips, VS beauty rush gloss: Strawberry Fizz.

Headband, orbit gum, 3 pens, 3 blistex moisturizer w/ SPF15 (i am obsessed with it can you tell?), tissues, my keys, starbucks napkins (under the keys), Nature Valley Granola bar w/ strawberry yogurt, BB curve, Altoid mini's, Baby lotion

Ice Breakers Ice cubes gum, a mint, silver hoop earrings, change, my wallet, Palmers Cocoa Butter cream (very moisturizing and good for the hands), Mag page on some cute watches, post its, and more napkins (another obsession of mine).

 

Thats it! also i feel ihave to explain my obsessions so you don't think i'm a nut.

Napkins: I get very hot in the summer and i sweat (sorry for the tmi), i always keep napkins around basically to dab myself on. And in the winter if i have to blow my nose and im out of tissues then the napkins are there to save the day.

Pens: you know how there's never a pen around when you need one? well thats why i have so many in my bag. There's also a pen in the spine of my notepad which i forgot to point out. I actually removed pens from my bag  last week so this is very minimal for me.

Blistex: i hate hate hate dry lips. And this product mositurizes, has SPF, and give a hint of shine.

So i was tagged by Retailtherapy (check her out!) to do this post. I am always drooling over her posts so i am really happy i was tagged, thanks girly!

Here goes my top 5 roster:

L-R: Aruba Blue: Essie, Bermuda Shorts: Essie, Bachelorette Bash: Essie, Creme Brulee: Revlon, Timeless: Milani

 

Timeless is the first color i have purchased from Milani and i LOVE it! i am wearing it right now matter of fact. i literally just did my nails 2 hrs ago

I really like it. And the Milani polish went on nice and smooth, no streaks or gloopiness. Very creamy and easy to apply. I will definitely try some of their other colors.

Sidenote: my nails look soo goregous! hahah, self love ladies, it's ok in moderation :)

 

My least fave polish:

 

L'oreal Nail Polish: Mango Get-em. Ok so i LOVE the color. The polish? not so much. It was really streaky and just a horrible polish to apply. I really liked the color though, it was such a shame. I literally had to take it off the next day it looked so bad. I am not a pro when applying polish but i do know enough to apply color well and nothing i did helped.
