Leopard Print Nails

Hi Everyone!

So i tried something new with my nails. Normally i just do solid colors but i decided to step out the box alittle. I followed a tutorial by youtuber Julieg713 (subscribe to her she is so sweet and very creative!)

Here's the tutorial by Julieg713:

And here are my results!

I think i did a good job if i say so myself =P (the other hand was a disaster! i'm not going to show it)

Close up of the nails:

And the products i used:

L to R: So Easy - Stripe Rite in Black, OPI - Will you Mari-a-chi Me?, Milani - Timeless.

So you may not be able to tell but the Milani is a creamy grey shade, and the OPI is a shimmery pale pink. I was thinking snow leopard whe i picked these colors lol.

Hope you ladies like the look, and you should definitely try it yourself, super easy and doable.

My Nail Polish Collection

Ok i am sorry for the sloppy job on this post but i am starving and i am on my way out the door. I rounded up all my polishes and did a little photo shoot of my entire collection. I will do some swatches later this week of the various shades.

This is how i store my polishes, in these cute lil caboodle cases i bought from Target. They are like $9 i think.

This one contains my China Glaze polishes, I already did a post on them, check out my haul post here

My Revlon polishes. I think Revlon makes some of the best Reds, pinks and Corals which is why i have so many of those colors. I actually had more polishes by Revlon but they either spilled (see the dirty guy on the left? a casualty) broke or dried up. These are my survivors.

My Essie polishes. I think someone has been "borrowing" my polishes because i had alot more pinks than this. Essie makes gorgeous Pinks. And the Aruba Blue is my fave shade of all time. by anyone period.

Next up, My small but growing OPI collection, and Milani collection.

BTW, DO NOT buy the metallic greeen Milani polish (Key Lime Shine). It streaks like all hell. I have to do a post and show you, it was bad. The Grey one on the other hand is a dream, i love that shade, it comes second to Aruba Blue in my list of faves.

My Clear Polishes/tops coats:

Yup i use all Sally Hansen. It's easy to get and works for me. I change up my mani colors regularly so i can't tell you about durability on figner nails, but are far as my toes go i painted my toes 2 weeks ago and i have one tiny chip on my big toe that happend this week. So i would say its durable pedi wise. The red bottle is their quick dry topcoat polish. It really works however on certain polishes i have woken up the next morning to major chippage. So the solution to that is to use a top coat over it once the polishes have dried.

I just realized i missed 2 polishes:

Coral Revlon Shade

Sinful Colors Neon Purple:

First time i tried this brand and it's definitely on my radar (*cue Britney voice singing "on my radar"* in my brain arrghh!! hate that song!) The color was very pretty, i think it is actually a great dupe to Essie's Neon Purple. And its only $2.99 compared to Essie's $8.

And last but not least, my nails all broke/chippd due to my neglect in moisturizing them.

They look so pitiful :( My nails grow fast and strong so i honestly don't really care for them very well because i know they grow right back. If you look at my thumb nail, thats the length they all were last week (i couldn't bring myself to cut it since it was the only health one).

I will post swatches of all my colors over the next week, i know i did not list names here but i will do that with my swatches. And for anyone reading this, i would love to see your polish collections so i guess i should make this a tag huh? I tag anyone reading to post their collection, leave a link/comment below so i can find you ok?

Hope you all had a great weekend!

Sephora and Mac Haul

Sooo, This post has been a couple of days in the making. I actually made these purchases on Monday but i have been soo lazy this week (hey i'm on vacation, what do you expect? lol).

Lets start with MAC because i didn't buy anything exciting, just some basics

I bought Style Demon (thanks to Retail_therapy i have been lusting for this for awhile), a MSF in natural, and studiofinish concealer, which btw i didn't notice had SPF35, which is excellent especially for my eye area which has been severely damaged by eczema (hence my perpetual dark circles).

Okay, on to the good stuff :)

Again most of the items are nothing overly special, from left to right: Kinerase sample, Too Faced e/s palette in Natural, Metro Chic regular & Matte (i was really looking for the pink OPI Matte shade but they didn't have it so i got Metro Chic since i had liked it as well. ANOTHER Sophia influenced purchase), and Too Faced Shadow insurance.

Okay so what's so exciting about this purchase? well its the Too Faced palette of course!

ooh very pretty colors. here are some swatches:

L to R: heaven, classic, fashion, velvet revolver

L to R: Push up, honey pot, Sexpresso, Erotica, Cocoa Puff.

It also comes with instructions on how to create 3 looks:

Awesome right? I tried the Classic card, i did this in like 10 seconds so excuse the sloppiness of it:

I didnt use any base or anything, this was on bare eyelid so excuse my dark circles.

I love this palette, all the shimmer colors are soo pretty. I am not loving the mattes but there are only 3 and i can still make use of them. I am glad i picked this up, it was ona  whim of course but so glad.

Have a great weekend!
